But that’s not all; Heineken has teamed up with sneaker designer Dominic Ciambrone, known as “The Shoe Surgeon,” to craft an exclusive limited-edition pair of shoes that mirrors the unique character of Heineken® Silver. These stylish sneakers not only pay homage to the new lager but are designed to immerse wearers in the Silver experience. Sporting the iconic Heineken color palette of green with silver and red accents, Heinekicks feature a sleek green lenticular upper, a removable bottle opener on the tongue, and, most notably, beer-injected soles. Yes, you read that right – you can now walk on beer!
Crafted through a specialized surgical injection method, these groundbreaking shoes are the world’s first to let you quite literally walk on beer, offering a unique and immersive way to savor the Heineken® Silver experience. The Shoe Surgeon, the mind behind this innovative fusion of beer and fashion, shares, “I can’t say I’ve ever designed a sneaker that contains actual beer before.”
